Ashura (Martyrdom of Imam Hussain)

A deeply solemn period marking the tragedy of Karbala. The 10th of Muharram commemorates the supreme sacrifice of Imam Hussain ibn Ali (a.s.), his family, and loyal companions defending justice and truth.

20th Safar

Arbaeen

The 40th day following Ashura, marking the spiritual return to the plains of Karbala. It is commemorated globally by one of the largest peaceful walks and gatherings in the world.

17th Rabi al-Awwal

Milad-un-Nabi & Imam Jafar al-Sadiq

A joyous commemoration celebrating the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) and his grandson, the 6th Imam, Jafar al-Sadiq (a.s.), who consolidated the school of Islamic jurisprudence.

13th Rajab

Birth of Ameer al-Mu'minin

The auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) inside the Holy Kaaba in Makkah—celebrated as a foundational milestone of spiritual guidance and leadership.

15th Shaban

Mid-Shaban (Birth of Imam Mahdi)

Celebrating the birth of the 12th and current Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi (a.t.f.s.). It is a night of profound prayers, reflection, and global hope for the restoration of peace and justice.

19th - 23rd Ramadan

Laylatul Qadr & Martyrdom of Imam Ali

The nights of destiny combine intense spiritual worship with the solemn memory of the strike upon and subsequent martyrdom of Imam Ali (a.s.) while in prayer at the Mosque of Kufa.

1st Shawwal

Eid al-Fitr

The joyful festival marking the conclusion of the holy month of fasting, dedicated to communal prayers, gratitude, charity, and family gatherings.

18th Dhul-Hijjah

Eid al-Ghadir

Known as Eid al-Akbar (The Greatest Eid), it commemorates the historical declaration at Ghadir Khumm where the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) appointed Imam Ali (a.s.) as his successor and vicegerent.
